Mommy and Daddy visit Japan, Part 4

For the final part of our Okinawan journey, Joseph and Kate take us to Kokusai Street, where there are shops, shops, and more shops as far as the eye can see!

It's already busy, and we're not even there yet!

I don't think there's a road less traveled here.

Looks like we chose this way, which seemed better than that way.

I thought the fish selection looked really colorful!

Oh my gosh these look soooooo good! Too bad I didn't have a knife to cut them. :(

I don't know what that is, but it looks like a ginormous cucumber.

Oh hai!

I am soooooo hungry.

Would you just look at the delicious fat on that meat? Can't find anything that fatty and delicious here.

Yes, that is a butcher expertly hacking into a pig right next to the walkway...and the people walking in that walkway, pay no attention at all, this is very normal.

Never forget that not only does Japan define cute, it OWNS cute.

Why yes, that is a snake in alcohol on sale for around $1300, why do you ask?

Decorative tiles like this one were everywhere.

No, Joseph, I did not come all this way to Japan to eat at McDonald's. :) But we'll look inside to see what kinds of things they offer.

One of the many entrances to the many shops off of Kokusai Street.

This is a shop that sells ube (purple sweet potato) pastries...OM NOM NOM!

Now I know where Santa takes his vacations.

There are no words to describe how awesome or weird this is.

Hulk smash your pool party!

This store has it ALL!

After walking all over only a portion of all Kokusai Street has to offer, it's time for a well-deserved lunch.

Mos Burger...which could stand for Most OSome burger...or maybe they can't spell mas burger right...either way, it's delicious!

Mos Burger has hamburger pillows and hamburger art...

...and hamburgers. They have those, too.

This was my favorite burger. It's like a teriyaki burger but better.

OM NOM NOM!

All good things, especially vacations, must end. But that doesn't mean the fun has to stop!

Michael standing next to some beautiful orchids.

Seriously, these orchids were everywhere!

How come we have all of the serious business airplanes? We should also have a whale shark and Pokemon plane!

The #1 choice of coffee for bosses everywhere.

How a boss might drink Boss coffee (coffee shown actual size).

I am so awesome. Did I mention you could buy ICE CREAM on this flight?

My last Japanese meal at the Tokyo airport, a delicious sashimi tuna and avocado salad.

What someone about to enjoy their last, delicious Japanese meal might look like.

Michael's delicious meal.

Dessert. It was delicious as well.

After being away for over a week, a little girl was very excited to see Mommy and Daddy!

Adalyn wearing her Finding Nemo socks we bought for her.

Adalyn had to wear her fish shirt with her fish socks. Of course.

Awwwww, we missed you, too, sweetie!
