Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks Excursion

Date:            09/27/2013
Destination: Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument
Goal:            To have fun with a little girl

Will we succeed?

This little girl looks ready for a scenic walk.

Mommy and Adalyn help show the huuuuuuge bigness of the rocks.

And we're off!

This trail may not be big enough for the two of us...

An up close (yes, we got close) shot of the wildlife in the area.

This guy was the talk of the town.

Beware of slowly, ever so slowly, falling rocks.

I wonder why they call them tent rocks? Hmmm...

Daddy is always ready to provide a helping hand.

Here we are at the end of our journey not stuck between the rocks.

Bonus pics:

These green playdoh gummy bears have attracted a family of playdoh bunnies.

What a delicious green chile cheeseburger with avocado on a homemade potato roll might look like...
