We continue our epic journey at Nana and Grandpa's house, where we arrived just in time for Caturday breakfast after a long night of driving! Adalyn was accosted by several new kitties and two dogs, and of course, Adalyn LOVED the four-legged attention. Adalyn even met Firefly, the last of the ponies, and some cows, who were very polite and kept their distance.
Adalyn then met Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Patricia's dogs, and when these dogs came rushing up at her barking, Adalyn laughed! The more the dogs barked at her, the more Adalyn laughed! And Adalyn had to endure the horrific torture of her toes getting huffed by them! Oh the humanity!
Adalyn also got to meet new things of the two-legged variety - Aunt Patricia and Vivienne! Adalyn had to wait her turn though to get acquainted with Vivienne...

A chicken fairy is like the tooth fairy except it's a constant companion in your hair that works very hard at night to give you the chickens that you see every morning. Chicken fairy apprentices learn their trade on baby hair. |

Place your bets, people, and welcome to the Walker Races 5000! Let's introduce today's racers!
On the left, we have the challenger, Adalyn von Hoffenhoeder, the Restless. This is Adalyn's first time on the track today, but she's not letting that slow her down. Adalyn's been pulling up 100 times a day at high altitudes to prepare for this race. Let's just hope this gives her the edge she needs to win today.
And on the right, we have the reigning champion, Vivienne Varoom III. In her spare time, Vivienne digs tiny dogs out of her bumper - hey, it's not her fault she's so fast that they didn't see her coming!
Okay, on your mark, get set, GO!

We've finished Round 1, and we're getting ready for Round 2. Round 2 introduces obstacles in our racer's path, including dogs, shoes, and random spectators that should've made that left turn at Albuquerque.

Okay, so we never had our Walker Races, but we had a great time of Baby Bumper Cars! Vivienne would take one look at our unsuspecting Adalyn, get up to ramming speed, and WHAM! Okay, it was a teeny wham, and Adalyn would just look up as if a fly just bumped into her. Fun was had all around, and Adalyn has issued a challenge for next time they meet up!
On her down time, Adalyn's been exploring her new world, discovering new toys and new skills.
