Fashion Show - Spring 2012 Line

Every spring, grandparents all across America push the fashion scene forward and unveil a new line of baby clothes to foist upon their grandchildren. This season is no exception as Adalyn has received many super-cute clothes with the following instructions attached: 1) Place on baby, 2) Take pictures of baby, and 3) Show pictures to grandparents. The following grandparents are listed as the sponsors of this spring's Fashion Show: Mommom, Poppop, Nana, and Grandpa!

Adalyn kicks off the fashion show in a brightly colored ice cream dress, perfect for the upcoming hot summer days.

While the grandparents may spend effort picking out the clothes that set the trend this season, the models themselves bear the brunt of making it look cute for the camera. How does Adalyn take her cuteness to 11?

Adalyn confidently walks down the runway in a bold, but fashionable, shirt and skirt and turns to pose at the camera.

Adalyn perfectly models this flowery two-piece set with matching hat - an outfit that perfectly mirrors the innocence of flowers in springtime.

The audience gasps as Adalyn unleashes her best look yet - Blue Magnum.

After the show, once all of the photographers and fans have gone, Adalyn begins her search for the comfiest chair to crash on after putting in a long day.

First Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny was very busy this year with an extra house to visit! Knowing that Adalyn would love hunting eggs the most, the Easter Bunny left all sorts of things to start our very own Easter egg hunt - plastic eggs, egg dye, and a half dozen white eggs to decorate!

Peeper's decorated a few eggs in her time, so she supervises Mommy and Daddy to make sure they do it right.

Apparently, Mommy is taking too long getting everything set up.

Our First Annual Egg Hunt was a hit! Mommy hid all of the eggs, Peeper found some better hiding places for some of the eggs (sigh), and Daddy guided Adalyn to the prime spots for finding the most eggs. And after all of that work, it's time to enjoy our loot.

Adalyn had a blast for her second St. Patrick's Day. Nana and Grandpa came for a visit, and to celebrate the holiday, we headed off to an Irish pub for good beer, good food, and good music.

Adalyn is looking super cute for St. Patrick's Day! And hoping she's wearing enough green to avoid the pinches...

Uncle Joseph up and decided to join the Marines...which means a fun family vacation as we go out to see him graduate from boot camp! But a big vacation means big preparations...

Adalyn's hygiene habits are so good, that she brushes her teeth WHILE she eats.

We've combed our tiny hair, brushed our tiny teeth, and said goodbye to our stuffed animals as we board a plane for Adalyn's SECOND airplane adventure! We arrive in San Diego, and Adalyn gets to meet her great-grandparents for the very first time!

After stomping around the safari park like we owned the place, it's time to head back.

It's the last day of our San Diego trip, but that doesn't mean the shenanigans have to stop! We get in a few family photos and head on out to the Maritime Museum before saying goodbye.
